Avid’s FR5 brake levers are ultra light and exceptionally stiff. They deliver excellent modulation and single finger braking power. Used on many mid to upper range Dahon folding bikes. Fits all Models with V-Type brakes and Disc. Sold as a pair.

Kinetix SpeedStop V-brakes are ultra smooth and powerful and are specially designed to suit the unique geometry of Dahon bikes. The SpeedStop front brake includes our custom Flex brake noodle: a flexible stainless steel pipe that is much more resistant to damage. We also use SilentGrip ceramic brake pads: in DIN tests conducted by an independent lab in Germany, SilentGrip pads were comparable to Shimano pads when dry, measurably superior when wet, and several dB quieter under all conditions.

BioLogic VB brake levers   The ergonomically shaped levers mould perfectly to the curvature of your hand – for easy modulation. The final touch is a soft Kraton insert in the lever: they improve grip in hot or wet weather, and in cold weather you won’t find your fingers freezing to them.  Fits all Models with V-Type brakes and Disc. Front Wheel Kinetix Comp 20H radial laced, ultralight 58 g. cartridge bearing hub, CNC machined doublewall rim.  Can be used to upgrade a bike such as Dahon Vitesse/Speed D7 to QR stronger rim wheels.

Front Dynohub wheel    The BioLogic™ Joule hub is embedded with a ring of small magnets that automatically generate electricity when the hub is turned while riding. A hub dynamo is the most efficient way to generate electricity for your bike light and drag is barely noticeable. The Joule hub features a polished aluminum hub shell and is made to our 74mm compact width specifications. It is one of the lightest hub dynamos on the market and also one of the most efficient. The rim is a Kinetix  Comp, doublewall, CNC machined sidewalls, wear line  indicator.  Fits all Dahon 20” wheel folding bikes of 74mm dropout width.

Dahon Kinetix Pro  Wheels Pair The most highly engineered compact wheels in the world. Immensely strong, inconceivably light, and with the added benefit of suspension. The front wheel is built around an ingenious suspension hub that provides 12mm of butter-smooth travel. Suspension is ultra-sensitive because the hub moves in the same path that road deformities impact the wheel. The hub soaks up vibrations and stays glued to the road - perfect when you have 125 psi in your tyres and are riding over less than perfect conditions. Front and rear wheels feature custom rims made from a proprietary Niobium alloy and Sapim Laser spokes. The rear hub fits 8 and 9 speed cassettes. The final touch is Rolf® Paired Spoke Technology™, the same wheel technology used by our favorite Tour de France winner. So light they could float on water, Kinetix Pro Wheels are the most highly engineered compact wheels in the world. Patented Rolf® Paired Spoke Technology™ results in immensely strong wheels that weigh very little. A great upgrade for any of the 8/9 speed 20” wheel Dahons Front: 74mm; Rear: 130mm.

The Radius Handlepost  is forged from aluminum for strength and features patented Fusion™ technology for an incredibly stiff coupling with the frame and fork. The Radius Telescope handlepost is adjustable so no matter how tall or short you are, you'll get the riding position that is most comfortable. This Handlepost will only fit all Dahon Ahead systems on 20” wheel bikes. It does not include the handlebar itself or the two release levers.

The Radius VRO is designed specifically for use with the Syntace VRO handlebar system. It achieves a highly adjustable riding position when using the Syntace VRO adjustable handlebar system.  It does not include the handlebar itself.

The BioLogic™ Aria Saddle The sleek new BioLogic™ Aria is one of the most comfortable performance-oriented saddles we’ve ridden. It has enough padding for comfort, but not so much that it will restrict movement or cut off blood flow over longer rides.

This is a standard two rail saddle that in addition fits all normal bikes with a micro-adjust seatpost. Not Dahon I-Beam fitting.

Biologic I - Beam Velvet Saddle  The world's first light weight comfort saddle. The BioLogic™ Velvet saddle is built using patented SDG I-Beam technology. Compared to SDG's Bel Air saddles, the Velvet features a wider base and additional padding for more comfort. But like all I-Beam saddles, the Velvet is extremely light and easy to adjust. The Velvet also offers twice as much fore/aft adjustment to allow a wider range of riders to dial in a perfect fit.  Please understand that this saddle is only suitable for Dahon I - Beam seatposts. it is not a standard twin rail fitting

Sugino XD Chainset with crank.  Sugino is one of the oldest Japanese component companies, renowned for its advanced cold-forging technology and beautifully under-stated cranks. Sugino cranks grace the bikes of many of the world’s leading track riders. Sugino crank arms are cold-forged and painstakingly hand-polished. This chainset has cold-forged 6061 cranks, the Special Edition chain ring is made from light weight 2014AL. 53T  170mm crank.

Kinetix Wing crank set   Elegantly graceful, the Kinetix Wing crank set is cold-forged from 6061 aluminum billet for consistent quality and an excellent stiffness to weight ratio. Hand polished to a lustrous sheen. Used on Dahon Hub Gear models. 170mm Crank  38T

BioLogic™ Zorin PostPump The award-winning BioLogic™ Zorin PostPump is an ingenious combination of a seat post and powerful floor pump. The pump mechanism is hidden inside the seat post so the pump is always at hand, hidden from the elements and thieves. The high capacity BioLogic™ pump can inflate a tire in as few as a dozen strokes and can easily reach 110 psi. Cane Creek Thudbuster Seatpost The ultimate comfort upgrade. Dahon worked with Cane Creek to develop a custom version of their top-rated ThudBuster suspension seat post to fit all of the 16" and 20" wheel bikes. The result is 3.9" (10 cm) of plush, stiction-free travel. Unlike most telescoping suspension designs that tend to pogo up and down, the ThudBuster features a patented parallel-link design that delivers suspension in the direct path of the natural travel of the rear wheel when the bike encounters a bump. This means that you'll hardly notice the suspension working at all - all you'll notice is that your bike is suddenly a lot more comfortable than before. The ThudBuster is only 150g. heavier than the Dahon standard MicroAdjust seat post. Dahon tried just about all of the suspension seat post designs out there and the ThudBuster is the run away winner. But hey, if you don't trust them, trust the bike magazines who always give the ThudBuster top marks in comparison reviews. The Thudbuster comes with 3 different sets of elastomers to tune the seat post to rider weight and riding style. Size: 34mm x 580mm (same as the Dahon standard seat posts).

KMC Z82 CHAIN The chain is one of the most common places for bike manufacturers to save a few dollars because few consumers notice the difference between a high quality chain and a cheap chain on the dealer floor. But chain quality is critical for smooth, consistent shifting and the premium Z82 is one of the best. Precut length for Dahon 20” Folding bikes with derailleur gears  1/2” x 3/32”

Ergon  GC2 Grips/Barends   Once you ride Ergon grips, you’ll never go back to your old grips. They are that good! Designed by a team of mad Germans who obsess about ergonomics to improve comfort and performance. The unique shape of Ergon grips is designed to put your hand in a more relaxed position so that fatigue is substantially reduced. The angle of the wrist is also optimized to reduce stress on the ulnar nerve. The MR2 version features bar ends for additional hand positions.

Suntour Folding Pedals   Folding pedals let you reduce the size of your folded bike. Suntour pedals fold and unfold in seconds. A non-slip surface is safer for wet weather riding. Widely used on many of the entry level Dahon bikes, very easy to use and the favourite of the leisure market. Standard 9/16” RH and LH thread.

Dahon ProLite Wellgo Folding Pedals new and improved version Light, strong and a snap to use. To unfold these pedals, all you need to do is to step on the pedal body. Of course if preferred you can always do it by hand in the normal way.  Made out of light weight aluminum alloy, the ProLite pedals are nearly 100g lighter than the Suntour pedals. Standard 9/16” RH and LH thread.
